How does Talk Therapy help?
Talk therapy allows you to tell your story and process it with unbiased support and guidance. Giving a voice to your story will help you overcome the trauma and begin your journey towards healing. You will collect a toolkit of exercises and tips to help you deal with your experience in an open and healthy environment.
How many sessions do I need to take?
This is entirely up to you, however it is usually recommended that a minimum of two sessions be taken before coming to any decisions. Ideally, your first session will be spent telling your story while your counselor makes enquiries and notes to follow up on in subsequent sessions. Your counselor will advise you regarding the amount of unpacking required, and the final decision is yours to take.
